Oct 2009: Rebecca’s house – ecofit Manchester

To help us understand the nuts and bolts issues of home eco-refurb, and to put our money where our mouth is, we teamed up with GBR campaign sponsor Knuaf Insulation to undertake a real life refurb of Rebecca’s home in Manchester. This was a springboard for us to Kevin onto the platform debating these issues at Conservative Party conference and to directly influence their thinking on how to craft their future for the future of UK homes. This has now become government policy and will be put through Parliament this year.

The GBR campaign ran from 2009 to 2012 and ended with the passing of the green deal legislation.
